Plain or Salted Cashews…which do I go for?

When it comes to cashews, there’s no wrong way to eat them. They’re so versatile that you could literally eat them plain and be happy with life, or you could add salt or other spices like suya spice to really bring out their flavour.

So what’s the right way? It depends on what you like! But here are some things you should know about each option:

1) Eating them plain: This is the healthiest way of eating cashews. You can just pop them in your mouth without any added salt or spices and they’ll still be delicious.

2) Salting: Admittedly, salt brings out the natural sweetness in cashews and makes them taste even better than eating them plain. You can use coarse sea salt or kosher salt for this method—just remember not to put too much on at once or else the excess salt will make your mouth water for more and this might not be good for keeping your sodium levels low!

Cashews are delicious and nutritious, so why would you want to change them in any way? Maybe you’re avoiding salt because it can raise your blood pressure, or maybe you’re just trying to cut back on the amount of sodium you consume each day. But whatever your reason, we think it’s worth considering whether adding salt or other seasonings is really necessary. After all, cashews are already sweet and salty enough on their own!

Whichever you choose, rest assured that you will be enjoying the savoury taste of this snack.
