28 Dec Happy Holidays!
Welcome to the last blog of the year. I’m sure you’ve been enjoying the holidays!
These are a few ideas for how cashews can make this season extra special.
1. Make some cashew ice cream and freeze it so you can enjoy it on New Year’s Eve!
2. Make a cashew-based cocktail (there are many recipes online) and drink it while watching fireworks go off on New Year’s Eve!
3. Make a batch of caramel popcorn with cashew butter instead of butter.
4. Or maybe make some roasted chestnuts with honey-roasted cashews sprinkled inside! These are just some examples—you can find dozens more recipes online if you search hard enough!
The best way to celebrate is by eating cashews! Cashews are delicious and nutritious, so why not eat them at every meal? If you don’t want to eat cashews all day long (or if you’re allergic), consider adding cashew pieces to your holiday desserts. You can also try making a grilled cheese sandwich with cashew butter, or topping off your hot chocolate with a sprinkle of crunchy cashews.
If there’s one thing we know about holidays, it’s that they involve lots of food—and if there’s anything else we know about holidays, it is that they’re also a great time to be with family and friends. So why not make some cashews together? What could be better than sharing some deliciousness with those who matter most in your life?
Have a great new year!
